Are Chiropractors Just Back Doctors?

One of the most common misconceptions is that Chiropractic care is good only for lower back or neck pain, or spinal related problems. In any of these cases, a Chiropractor should be consulted first. However, Chiropractic is also able to assist in correcting and stabilizing many other health problems as well.

To understand this, create an image. Your brain is connected to your body by nerves. If the messages between your brain and your body are complete, meaning you have no nerve interference, your body can function at 100%. When interference is present in the nerves, the messages will change, resulting in body malfunction. If your body is not functioning correctly, you will not have 100% health. You may not have pain, however, your body is beginning to undergo disease processes. When a disease process settles, you may then have pain or symptoms. Chiropractic gets rid of the interference and restore function to your body thereby eliminating the pain.

Does Chiropractic hurt?

Some people believe Chiropractic hurts. At our office the doctor specializes in the Activator Method, the most widely used low force technique in Chiropractic. It is gentle, painless, and very effective.

Before the doctor does any type of treatment, he will first give you an examination to determine whether or not Chiropractic can help you. If the doctor concludes Chiropractic may help, he does a correction called an adjustment. An adjustment is given by the doctor with the hand-held Activator. The Activator delivers a light force that restores correct spinal balance with improved safety and comfort. No popping, cracking, or twisting!

How long does it take and how much will it cost?

Some people think that once you see a chiropractor, you have to see them for the rest of your life. This is not true, especially in our office. The length of time to correct the cause of a problem depends on many factors, your living habits, nutritional habits, and severity or duration of each problem. At our office, we offer many different types of care. The doctor will let you know what your options are, then YOU decide the care you would most prefer.

After choosing the type of care you want, the cost of your care can be estimated. We provide budget plans for individuals and families that save you money overall. At our office, we accept all insurances that offer chiropractic coverage. We accept Medicare, Labor & Industries, and auto injury cases. We are also a preferred provider for Microsoft, Regence Blue Shield, Premera BlueCross, Aetna, Cigna,  Health Plus, and First Choice, among others.

When I have finished care, will my health problem return?

Since we live stress filled lives, there is no assurance we will never be sick. That is why many people choose regular chiropractic adjustments to have a healthier body. Those that do, often report more energy and vitality with greater resistance to stress and disease. Chiropractic can relieve minor and major health problems and restore life to your body!

Let Chiropractic care be a choice for you and your family!
